Donations

The Battlefield Equestrian Society

Donations can be made in terms of money and/or materials or goods. Since being founded, we have provided the Manassas National Battlefield Park with over $75,000 to be used for the maintenance of the current bridle trails. These funds were a direct result of BES fund raising activities including direct donations.

Materials/Equipment: We are always interested in discussing potential donations of materials, equipment and/or money for support of the bridle trails in the park. Of particular interest are our specific needs for equipment and materials including:

• Replacement Bobcat
• Replacement Gator
• Tractor [w/front loader]
• Pasture Fencing and 12 foot gates [in support of Volunteer Mounted Patrol horses]

Contribution categories: Starting in 2004, BES has established the donor categories listed below. In part, these categories of giving were provided in response to members who could not donate their personal time and 'sweat equity' to the scheduled work days. These categories were also developed to allow BES to acknowledge the contributions of other donors that have been so important to our financial success.

Corporate Donor:	Over $1000 [Financial donation and/or value of donated materials]
Event Sponsor:	Over $1000 [Sponsorship funding for one of BES's rides]
Individual Donors:
Silver:	$100 - $249
Gold:	$250 - $499
Diamond:	Over $500

To support tax reporting, BES will acknowledge contributions by letter to be provided by the BES secretary. BES thanks you for your support in helping us with the maintenance of the bridle trails within the Manassas National Battlefield Park.
